Jeffrey Auchab (Benediction Scholar)

Hi my name is Jeffrey Auchab. I was born in Usakos. I live with my Mom, Dad, and two younger brothers. My parents have inspired me to be an engineer when I grow up. I like that I have good friends and family. I also really like my hobbies. My friends say that I am funny and smart. My favorite class at MYO is computers because I like learning on the internet and the typing lessons. I am happiest when I am with my family and also when I am playing soccer with my friends. It makes me sad when I get into trouble with friends and when I am at home.
My Motto: I really like soccer and computers.

Breyton Basson

Hi my name is Breyton Basson. I was born in Swakopmund and live with my Mom and sometimes my Dad. I want to be a Doctor so I can help sick people or be a teacher. I like the way I act and the way I look. Sometimes I’m positive and sometimes negative. My Mom and friends think I’m funny and fast as a Cheetah. I very much like running. I run in bare feet almost every day around the outside of our house when I’m playing. I like the teachers at MYO My favorite is life skills where I am learning about HIV and Aids. MYO has helped me win prizes at school (Tamariskia). Last year I was best in Environmental Studies and Maths. Oranges are my favorite food and love songs are my favorite music.

Caitlin Basson (Benediction Scholar)

Hi my name is Caitlin Basson. I was born in Windhoek. I live with my Grandfather and Grandmother. I want to be a doctor when I grow up. I like my cleverness and my friends say that I am a great person. I like the education that I get at MYO. They have helped me progress with my schoolwork. My favorite color is purple and favorite food is lasagna. I really like listening to hip hop music.
My Motto: When the sun is shining bright, I am smiling.

Justin Brandt

I was born in Swakopmund. I have an extended family. I live with my parents, older brother and sister and nephew. I want to be an actor when I grow up. I am inspired by actors I see in films and on TV. I really like Jean Claude van Damme. I like action adventure movies. I am intelligent and have a good sense of humor. My friends would describe me as funny. I like making jokes and fooling around.
My motto: Beggars can’t be choosers. I like this line because sometimes people ask me for something and then I give it to them and then they say, “No I don’t want that one!” See Beggars can’t be choosers. Don’t give up on your dreams!

Diana Hamalwa

Hi, my name is Diana Hamalwa. I was born in Swakopmund. I have an extended family. I live with my grandparents, my mother and my cousins. We are 14 plus me is 15. I like my personality and my ways towards people. I am kind to people Ronaldo says, “yes it’s true, she is very kind” I want to be a lawyer because I want to help people are blamed for something that they did not do. I was blamed for something I didn’t do and it made we want to become a lawyer.
My motto is be strong be loud and be heard!

Matthew-Leen Hanghome

Hi my name is Matthew-leen Hanghone. I was born in Swakopmund and have lived here all my life with my mom and little brother who is now at MYO as well. I want to be a doctor when I grow up because I want to help people who are sick. I like how I look and that I can draw and write well. My friends say that I am tall and a neat person. I would like to thank MYO because they provide us food and give us extra knowledge. It makes me sad when I don’t get what I want, when friends treat me badly or when something bad happens to my family. I am happiest when I am with family, at MYO and with friends playing and having a good time.
My Motto: Just do the best that I can and just be me.

Hi, my name is Mona Ellen. I was born in Okahandja. I come from a blended family. My mother had children and got married with a man with his own children. There are 5 of us. We all get along. I would like to become a doctor one day. I would like to help sick people. I am clever, have a lovely family and I like to fool around with children.

Hi my name is Katrina. I was born in Swakopmund. I live with my mom, sometimes my dad, my sister, my two brothers. I want to be a surgeon. I want to be a surgeon because I want to help people by operating on them. I’m not afraid. I like reading books. I read A LOT of books. I like magical books like The Magic Tree House. My friends would describe me as clever funny and talking too much. I am happy when I am riding a bicycle.

Shanice Klaaste (Benediction Scholar)

Hi my name is Shanice Klaaste and I was born in Swakopmund. I live with my mom, grandma, and two sisters. Both my mom and my baby sister have inspired me to be a pediatrician when I grow up. I like my beauty and that I am smart. My friends say that I am kind, funny and silly. MYO is the best thing that ever happened to me. I got a little more clever when I got here. My family makes me happy because they love me and care for me and they give me beautiful compliments.
My Motto: Take good care of yourself, always.

Teofilia Mutilifa

Hi my name is Teofilia Mutilifa and I was born in Oshakati. I live with my auntie and I have a twin sister. I want to be a governor or a lawyer when I grow up. I like that I am smart and funny. My friends say that I am a good friend. I like MYO because they give me more advice in school. I like being with friends, teachers and family but I am happiest when I’m doing gymnastics with my friends. It made me really sad and scared when a dog wanted to bite me.

My Motto: Have an education, finish it and become someone in life!

Moses Mwalundange (Benediction Scholar)

Hi, my name is Moses. I was born in the Ohangeena region. I live with my father, sister and my aunt Lucie. I want to be a business man. I think of myself as clever, sporty, honest and brave. My friends think that I am hardworking and good at playing the recorder. In 2017 I even made it to the newspaper! I like books, for example the A-Z mystery books in the library because in those books small kids solve big problems. From books I also learn new words. It’s great because I can help my sister with schoolwork. Computers are a favorite because they allow me to play computer games. I enjoy playing soccer at MYO and learning how to play music instruments. I love singing. I like rice with chicken, curry and pizza. I sometimes cook for myself and sometimes I cook for the whole family.

Hi my name is Salomon. I was born Swakopmund. I live with my grandmother, my mother my aunt my two brothers and my nephew. I want to be an engineer when I grow up. Any kind, I like to put things together and mess with stuff. When I am with my friends and family, I am happy. I like it because I’m funny. I just imagine things and then say them. My friends would describe me as short and chubby. I like soccer, it’s a nice game. I’m quick on my feet.

Hi my name is Emilia Shangula and I was born in Ondangwa. I live with my father. I want to be a doctor when I grow up because I want to help people that are sick. I am kind, helpful and caring. My friends would say that I have beautiful eyes and hair, a pretty smile and that I am smart. My favorite class at MYO is music. I am happiest when I am playing soccer and volleyball. It makes me sad when people tease me.

Petrus Shikudule

Hi my name is Petrus Shikudule. I was born in Okahandja. I live with my mom and brother. My grandfather inspired me to want to be an engineer when I grow up. I like my teeth and my eyelashes. My friends call me Pexxa and they would say that I am kind and a good friend. MYO has helped me with my English. I am happiest when my mother takes me to visit my grandmother’s house because I get to play with my cousins. It makes me sad when I have a quarrel with my brother.

Cathy Tsowases

Hi my name is Cathy Tsowases. I was born in Khorixas. I live with my mom, dad and little brother. My aunt has inspired me and gave me her blessings to become a teacher. What I like most about me is my face. My friends would say that I am tall, funny and naughty. MYO is a great place because we are taught things here before we learn them in school, so we already know it. I am happy being around friends and family. I like it when we can sit and make jokes. I am the most sad when I hear that someone has passed away or when my family is in the hospital or gets in trouble.
My Motto: Always be strong.

Medley Uiseb

I was born in Otjiwarongo in north east Namibia. When my brother liked music and he was telling my mother to buy an iPod and when I was born she bought the iPod for him on the same day and called me Medley. I live with my mother my three brother and my sister and one nephew. I want to be a lawyer because I want to help innocent people. At school they blamed a kid for stealing a pen and he didn’t so I defended him. I am handsome honest and easy to trust and a great friend. My friend would describe me the same. I like comedy movies and soccer and games. Music is a great thing!
