Little House of Hope – ELC
In 2014, MYO was fortunate to be introduced to a German Foundation called “Little House of Hope”. It was founded in 2007 by a German couple who personally experienced the poverty affecting so many Namibian children. They saw how the AIDS virus and a lack of educational opportunity affected many children and their parents, and they decided to get involved with the well-being, development and education of these impoverished children.
Little House of Hope is independent from MYO, but MYO assists with their mission by providing management support and space on our campus. It currently has 75 students and 5 dedicated teachers. In addition, they also have an afternoon education program for 65 students.
